1. Introduction

Weirsdale Movers (“we”, “us”, or “our”) provides professional moving and storage services. By hiring our services, you agree to comply with the terms outlined in this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, you should refrain from using our services.

2. Services Provided

Weirsdale Movers offers the following services:

  • Local Moving
  • Long-Distance Moving
  • Residential Moving
  • Commercial Moving
  • Moving and Storage Solutions

We strive to perform our services in a professional and timely manner. However, service times may vary due to factors beyond our control, such as weather, traffic, or unforeseen circumstances.

3. Booking and Cancellation

  • A booking is confirmed once the client provides all required information and a deposit is made (if applicable).
  • Cancellation must be made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled move. If cancellation is made within 48 hours of the scheduled service, the deposit may be non-refundable.
  • Rescheduling requests should be made as soon as possible and will be accommodated based on availability.

4. Pricing and Payment

  • Pricing is determined based on the type of service requested, distance, volume, and labor involved.
  • Payment is due upon completion of services unless other arrangements are made.
  • Weirsdale Movers reserves the right to request a deposit for long-distance moves or large jobs.
  • All payments must be made in full by cash, credit card, or other approved methods.

5. Customer Responsibilities

  • The client is responsible for ensuring that items are packed securely for transport unless packing services are provided by Weirsdale Movers.
  • Weirsdale Movers is not liable for any damages to items that were not packed by our professional team.
  • The client must ensure that all fragile, valuable, or irreplaceable items are disclosed to our team prior to the move.
  • The client is responsible for ensuring access to both pickup and delivery locations (e.g., parking, elevators).

6. Liability

  • Weirsdale Movers will handle all goods with care. However, we are not liable for damages resulting from natural disasters, accidents, or circumstances outside of our control.
  • Liability for damages caused during transport is limited to the declared value of the items.
  • Claims for damages must be submitted in writing within 30 days of the move.

7. Insurance

  • Basic coverage is provided for items moved, based on weight and volume. However, additional insurance coverage can be arranged upon request at an extra cost.
  • It is the customer’s responsibility to purchase any additional insurance for valuable or fragile items if desired.

8. Storage Services

  • Weirsdale Movers offers secure storage solutions. Items stored with us are subject to storage fees based on the size and duration of storage.
  • Stored items are insured up to a limited value. For high-value items, we recommend additional insurance coverage.

9. Prohibited Items

For safety and legal reasons, the following items are prohibited from being moved or stored by Weirsdale Movers:

  • Hazardous materials (e.g., explosives, chemicals, flammable items)
  • Perishable goods
  • Illegal items
  • Firearms and ammunition

10. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt mediation or arbitration before pursuing legal action. Any legal disputes will be governed by the laws of the State of Florida.

11. Amendments to Terms

Weirsdale Movers reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective once posted on our website or communicated to clients.
